One of my Christian friends made a Facebook post about how PP gave her tons of resources when she was trying to get pregnant and people were actually genuinely shocked that they provided such resources; they had fully bought into the idea that PP is just an “abortion factory”. The misinformation that’s been spread about PP is unreal.

The overwhelming majority of the services PP provides are to help people prevent unwanted pregnancy. One would think the anti-abortion set would be super excited about that because fewer unwanted pregnancies is pretty much the only way to definitely reduce the number of abortions…but they don’t actually care about “life.” Their single goal is to take away women’s bodily autonomy & to keep women shackled to the burdens of reproduction like we have been for millennia.

the artist is WLOP! he’s a chinese digital artist who does original and fanart, and has his own comic called GhostBlade. unfortunately, his art is very popular and gets stolen frequently by etsy shops and other people trying to make money off of other people’s work, so it doesn’t surprise me to see that someone stole this piece without crediting him.

I was having lunch with them today and my grandpa started throwing napkins at my grandmother, and she balled it up and looked all set to throw it back but then she put it down and said “I will not throw it because I was brought up properly, you were dragged” she has spent ¾ of her life with this man
I have a family friend who worked at our local Salvation Army headquarters as a a secretary. This particular office took all the Christmas donations for children in need, put them in a warehouse, and on a designated day the staff and their friends picked through them all, taking whatever they wanted. She saw people hauling away bikes donated for specific families. Some local children had hundreds of dollars of gifts donated in their name, and on Christmas they received three cheap things, items likely not even from the person who sponsored them.
My friend quit, and I’ve not given them a dime of my money since then.
